We operate 7 days a week; however, delivery hours, cut-off times, and availability may vary depending on demand and operational requirements.
All available delivery dates, delivery windows, pricing, and cut-off times are displayed in real time at checkout. Customers must always refer to checkout for the most accurate and up-to-date availability.
By placing an order, you agree to the delivery slot and terms selected at checkout.
Local Delivery – Colchester
We deliver locally within selected Colchester postcodes.
Delivery Windows
Local deliveries take place within selected delivery windows shown at checkout.
For example:
- 19:00 – 21:00
- 10:00 – 12:00
- 14:00 – 16:00
Delivery windows may change weekly depending on demand, staffing, and operational requirements.

Your order will be delivered within your selected delivery window.
Cut-Off Times
We keep same-day delivery ordering available as late as reasonably possible each day, which is usually around 5:00pm.
However, cut-off times may change daily depending on demand, staffing, traffic conditions, and operational requirements.
Customers must always refer to checkout for the latest live availability.
If you do not see the current day available for delivery at checkout, this means we are unable to offer delivery that day and you will need to select an alternative available delivery slot.

Delivery Fees
- Local delivery is charged at £2.99 per order.
- Minimum order value for local delivery is £5.
- A £1 service fee applies to all orders to help keep this service running and to support future improvements and additional features.
All pricing and fees will always be displayed at checkout before payment.
Alternative Shipping Option
If local delivery is unavailable for your selected date, you may choose our flat-rate shipping option:
- InPost Delivery – £3.99
Shipping availability and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.
Delivery Conditions (Important)
Customers must be present at the selected delivery address during the chosen delivery window.
Planet Pick n Mix does not leave orders in a “safe place” under any circumstances. Due to the perishable nature of our products, all deliveries must be handed directly to the customer.
If no one is available at the time of delivery:
- The delivery will be marked as unsuccessful.
- A £2.99 re-delivery fee will apply to rearrange delivery.
If delivery is unsuccessful and you subsequently decide to cancel your order:
- You will not be eligible for a refund, as delivery was attempted in accordance with your selected time slot.
In the event of a failed or incomplete delivery attempt, we will offer you the option to collect your order.
If you decline the collection option, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
By selecting a delivery slot at checkout, you confirm that someone will be available to receive the order.
Click & Collect
Click & Collect is currently suspended until further notice.
Any future availability will be shown directly at checkout.
Delivery Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:

We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information provided at checkout.
Temperature & Product Condition
Certain products, including chocolate and coated sweets, are sensitive to temperature changes.
By placing an order, customers acknowledge that weather conditions during transit may affect food products.
Planet Pick n Mix takes reasonable steps to reduce temperature-related risks where possible; however, once dispatched, temperature exposure is outside of our control.
We are not responsible for melting, softening, blooming, cracking, or other cosmetic or texture changes caused by hot or cold weather.
If your order arrives cold, we recommend allowing it to sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours before consumption.
Temperature-related cosmetic changes do not qualify as damage and are not eligible for refund or replacement.
